Envirolet DC12 Waterless Composting Toilet System

Envirolet DE12 Waterless Composting Toilet

OK, so admittedly, this falls into the category of “if money were no object”, but it’s just amazing what you can find when you’re searching Amazon Green. So, you ready to “go waterless” in the bathroom? Well, OK..maybe not completely waterless. Shower with a friend.

The Envirolet DC12 Waterless Composting Toilet System is one of the most completely cool systems I’ve ever seen. The company website talks about it being great for a summer or winter cabin, but if you were building a home from scratch, it would not be too hard to integrate this for everyday use. It can take up to 8 uses per day, or more if for occasional use.

It has dual 12VDC fans, which are powered by a 12V Battery and 4″ Wind Turbine (included). The battery needs to be purchased separately.

  • Clean, sanitary and odor-free
  • Empty as little as once a year (vacation use)
  • Lifetime Warranty on HDPE body

From the company website:

Commercial applications include construction sites, mobile trailers, warehouses, oil rigs, mines, ships, work trains and more. Home applications include basements, workshops, garages, sick rooms and pool cabanas. A low-cost solution for a better environment.

Model prices range from $1,500 to $1,700. I’d love to get comments from anyone who’s used this.
