Ethical Web Hosting is a Canadian company making great strides towards being socially and environmentally responsible. They’re doing a great job. They support many non-profit and charitable organizations by donating a portion of their own pre-tax profits and have gone carbon neutral through the purchasing of green wind tags. Most impressively, they list the organizations they have supported each year, and looking over the list is a great way to learn about some amazing organizations.
On a personal note, I have experienced lightening fast responses to my inquiries and have no reservations in recommending them. Also, their prices listed are in Canadian dollars, so it’s actually LESS for us paying in the U.S.
