I’m often asked, “what’s the best green web hosting service”? The truth is, we can talk about whether or not using a web host that purchases carbon offsets, or wind power, or one that uses solar power exclusively is “better” than the other, but in truth, anyone you choose that is doing something as a company to give back to the environment, is a good choice.

I have five companies I use, which are all listed above, and Canvas Dreams in particular gets my “good guy” award as absolutely outstanding. AISO is also unique in that they are the only completely solar-powered hosting provider in the U.S.  There are also some other good choices, and I’ve reviewed them too. Everyone has different experiences, and I can only share mine.
