Host Papa is known for their great customer support, and in fact won Hosting Review’s “Best Canadian Web Host” for 2008. Making an effort to offset their energy consumption, they have chosen to audit their usage and purchase back 100% of it in the form of green tags.
On a personal note, I typically do not ever host with a company that I can’t call. Host Papa gets high marks for accessibility, with their phone numbers easily available for you to call. I’d love to see more on their site about other ways their being a good environmental neighbor, but in terms of company stability, service and plan price and features, they are one of my picks.
