What Do Yogurt Cups and a Toothbrush have in common?

by Lauren on March 3, 2009

I hadn’t been to Trader Joe’s in a while and decided to go shopping there this weekend. Poking around the personal hygiene isle, I found a really incredible toothbrush called “Preserve”. It’s made from (of all things) recycled yogurt cups!

It was designed by a dentist, so I can feel good about my oral care and it’s BPA free. Best of all, when I’m done with it, I can send it back with their postage-paid mailing label to be re-processed into plastic lumber for picnic tables, boardwalks and decks!

In checking out their website, they also have green disposable (party) tableware and kitchenware. Big green kudos to the people at Preserve!

P.S. They’ve also got the “Preserve, Jr.” for kids!

I love these toothbrushes! I too discovered them at TJs! But now I just order them off their site. I love that they have toothbrush sizes for the kids.
