I ran across an incredible site (where have I been?!) and if you have not been to the site “The Story of Stuff“, race on over and do so. Their 20 minute video (below) is WELL worth the time investment. (Hat tip to Tim over at WAMITS.org!)
They have been raising awareness through their Story of Stuff Project, and thus far have been able to reach nearly 10 million people with a compelling message about the impact our production and consumption patterns are having on the planet and on each other. Their curriculum has always been free, available for the taking, to promote education. They’ve got a lot of diverse offerings, appealing to many segments of society, including faith-based materials. Amazing.
